This policy explains what personal data WorldSourcery collects through worldsourcery.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it. WorldSourcery is a trading name of Jifu LLC, 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE, United States, which is the data controller.
What we collect
- Enquiry details — the name, email address, product category and message you submit through our enquiry form.
- Technical data — IP address and browser user agent, recorded with each submission to prevent abuse and spam.
- No tracking cookies. This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and, if you engage us, to administer that commercial relationship.
- To keep a record of correspondence and quotations.
- To detect and block automated spam submissions.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Who else sees it
Enquiries are delivered by email to our own mailbox and stored on our own server. Our email and hosting providers process that data on our behalf. Where a sourcing enquiry requires it, we share the minimum necessary detail — typically a product specification, not your identity — with a manufacturer to obtain a quotation. We will tell you before doing so.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become a commercial relationship are deleted after 24 months. Where we hold a trading relationship, records are kept for as long as required for tax and contractual purposes.
Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to stop using it. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
The site is served over TLS. Enquiry data is stored on a server with restricted access and is not publicly reachable. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect in the first place so that a breach would expose as little as possible.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page.
